Celebrity Silhouette - Quebec City

Tuesday - We listened to a talk on the lighthouses of PEI by Edward, then had lunch and headed into Québec City. Our ship was right at the base of the Chateau Frontenac, so it was a mere 398 steps up to the Citadel. We took a one hour guided tour, then visited the museum. On our way down, we stopped at the Chateau Frontenac to have a look around. After that, we really felt that we earned a beer and some poutine at La Buche restaurant! Once back onboard, we had a light dinner followed by a comedic/juggling act by Lucian Fuller.

Wednesday - Walked around more of old Québec City. Stopped in at Notre Dame de Québec Basilica; it had a wonderful room on the history of St. François de Laval. After that back to Place Royal and down to Rue du Petit-Champlain below Cap Diamant. It is very picturesque and old world - amazingly clean and well kept. The headliner in the theatre was The Company Men, then Dale did his talk in the Sky Lounge.
