Next stop - Museo Archeologico Nazionale de Tarquinia housed in the Palazzo Vitelleschi (1459). Well worth the visit (and some amazing driving by Dale - narrow streets and a GPS that lagged - great job)!

Then back toward Civitavecchia to the Terme Taurine (Trajan's Baths - named after the emperor who founded Civitavecchia). What a beautiful and well preserved site. The map they loaned us was very explicit which really enhanced our visit.

Last, but certainly not least - the current baths - Ficoncella Thermal Baths. Did I mention hot?! 50-60°C - not for the faint hearted - or anyone with any medical conditions. We did it, but not for as long as the locals. We were last in and first out. Even venturing in a second time, the locals were still there!!! So I don't know how therapeutic it was, but certainly worth trying!

By the time we found the place to return our rental car we were done in. Thankfully it was just a short walk back to our B&B and it turned out to be a lovely day. This Cathedral is right beside our B&B and a beautiful waterfront walk is just a block away.
But wait, there is more! First the good news - Dale and I were wandering about trying to find our favourite pizza place here and we found it - and it was just as yummy as we remembered! Secondly - All Hallows Eve is celebrated big time here! It is only 6:30pm here and the noise has been going for more than 2 hours - what fun!
Tomorrow we will be boarding the ship and finding our way around. Next stop is Livorno, Italy.
