Olbia, Sardinia, Italy
We started off our day at Porto Cervo - a very exclusive area, very high end - but it doesn't look that way. There is a law that all houses and buildings must fit in with the natural surroundings, so most are either made of the local rock, or painted to match. From there we went to Nuraghe La Prisgiona archaeological site (approx. 3000BC). Very civilized and ahead of the Romans regarding running water and toilets! Our next stop was the Mancini vineyards for a sampling along with cheeses and bread and prosciutto.
