Today the Nieuports are being flown back to Lille from the Lens Aerodrome and will be prepared for their flight in the C-17 back to Canada. The mechanics are also dismantling the two Sopwith Pups and the SE-5, which will be trucked back to Lille later this week. So, a very quiet day for me to catch up on emails and the blog. I went for a walk around Douchy-les-Ayette and took some pictures of this cute little village we are staying in. I will add some pictures of the departure flight as they become available on Vimy Flight and other Facebook pages. Meanwhile, here is our Farm House, one of many British Cemeteries, the local church and some cute houses I walked past.
