Celebrity Summit Cruise

Thursday was at sea and Dale started off in the Theatre followed by Jacob. They each received a lovely round of applause for their work on the ship's bridge through the Panama Canal. There was an afternoon matinée with a new show by Vinny Grosso, who did more of a Mentalist performance. It was again, very entertaining. The evening's entertainer was John Krause.

Friday we were in Puntarenas, Costa Rica. We had a wonderful walk on the beach in the morning, then after lunch onboard, we visited the Parque Marino del Pacifico - a lovely little aquarium. On the way back to the ship we stopped for an Imperial beer (it was so refreshingly cold!), then a little market with local crafts. Everything is so brightly coloured. The evening's entertainer was Rick Novell, with a very novel show. He was amazing on a unicycle (especially the 6' one), then juggled knives while cycling. We stayed up late to watch the Love & Marriage game show - it is always entertaining.

Saturday was back at sea with Jacob on stage at 10am and Dale at 11am. After lunch we had a lovely FaceTime visit with the kids before cooling off in the pool. It was a formal night with a wonderful production show called Life. The singers and dancers are so talented.

We arrived in Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala on Sunday and went ashore after breakfast. We had a lovely time wandering around the huge market with so many colourful arts and crafts, but we especially enjoyed the Jade museum and learned so much about its history and the archaeological aspects of Jade. The evening's entertainer was a full show by Tommy Proulx who we saw on the first night onboard.
