Day 5 - at sea - Another busy day! This time Dr. Kramer did a talk on superstitions of the world - interesting and humorous. After that, Captain Tasos did a talk on the inception of the Ascent to the present day - informative and hilarious. We also got a preview to the weather, and the forecast made us very ahppy that we were on the 3rd floor. Lunch was followed by a game show called Level Up, then a science trivia with Dr. Kramer - didn't get many right, but learned a lot. Dinner was at the Cosmopolitan Dining Room. The evening's entertainment was over the top. The cast from Eden did a speakeasy performance called Smoke & Ivories - absolutely stunning. Then in the theatre was an amazing magician called Magical Bones - the magic was flawless and he was also a superb brake dancer - what fun!
Day 6 - Ponta Delgada, Azores, Portugal - we walked the Historic Centre starting from the Portas de Cidade (City Gates), to the Church of São Sebastião, another very old, very small church and on to the Mercado da Graça (the market) - then back to the ship via the waterfront promenade.

Had a lazy afternoon by the pool and in the hot tub before dinner at the Tuscan Dining Room, followed by NYC3 in the theatre and a special Halloween edition of the Challenge game show. Another late night as there was also a production show in Eden called Allure. You have to get to Eden very early to get a seat for these events as they are so fantastic and the venue is what they call intimate (small).

Day 7 - at sea - the 3 lectures in the morning were - Fascinating and Strange Sea Creatures, The Titanic Forces of Nature and Confessions of a Movie Studio Publicist. After lunch NYC3 did a new show in the theatre followed by a Name That Film Trivia. Dinner was at the Normandie Dining Room and the evening's performance was singer Jesse Hamilton Jr.. The game show was Finish the Song. By the time we went to bed, the waves were about 20' - very fun to watch.
