January went by in a blur despite our continued lock-down. Oliver and Dale both celebrated their Birthdays on January 9th with a socially distanced weiner roast at Natalie's Mom's farm. Lots of walks - even in the snow! Then it was back to more sorting and downsizing of Mom's stuff to fit in her new condo - and I mean new! We waited over a year for the building to be finished and an extra couple of months for her unit to be done - but it was worth it! It is beautiful, comfortable, and downtown, close to most amenities. The move went smoothly and yesterday the new people took possession of her house of 41 years! Where does the time go?
In betwixt and between all that, Joel bought a one-bedroom condo in West Vancouver and sold his studio apartment that he has been in for 14 years. Dale and I are only just approaching 10 years in our house (longest anywhere for us). We will hopefully remember to post some photos in March, as we plan to go over and help him move. Meanwhile, Dale is helping him plan some renovations to his new place, so he is keeping very busy researching.
In the meantime, take care and stay safe. We will get through this one of these days! xx
