Palma de Mallorca, Spain & 2 days at sea

Palma de Mallorca, Spain - Used the Hop-on/Hop-off bus for a tour of the city with a big stop at the Cathedral and a stop at a shop that has been in business since 1910 - great coffee and spinach pastry.

Had dinner in the Cosmopolitan Dining Room (no ethnicity). The show featured Nick Page.  He sang everything from Michael BublĂ© to Pavarotti! And did it well.  He also sang three pieces from Les Mis that really showed off his vocal range – wow!

A view of the Cathedral from the ship

At Sea – We had two sea days on our way to Tenerife – activity packed including Dale’s talk, a lecture by David Wiemers on Tales of Hollywood, a choir, Ping-Pong, archery (and many activities we didn’t participate in).  Dinner – back to the Cyprus dining room, and our entertainment – Rob Lewis – a Phil Collins show.

At Sea – Jam packed today.  Started at the gym, then after breakfast (salmon and spinach eggs benedict, fruit and chocolate croissant!) a lecture by Dan Schulzer on Ferdinand Magellan (very interesting).  On to a destination presentation for Tenerife followed by Nancy and Marshall doing Improv Comedy – they were great fun!  After lunch in the Cosmopolitan we were treated to another fantastic show by Nick Page.  Again, such diversity ending with fabulous show tunes featuring Phantom – wonderful.
Dinner in the Tuscan dining room followed by a magic show by Adam Heppenstall.  He is a magician and his card tricks were phenomenal!  And since Dale didn’t get to see Revelation at Eden the last time, we stayed up so he could see it.  It was slightly different from the first time, due to the tossing and rolling sea, but still amazing.  Again,
weird and wonderful.
