Day 1 - We left our friends from the Comox Valley RV Club in Rondalyn, Nanaimo and headed south to catch the Anacortes ferry out of Sydney (near Victoria). The crossing was beautiful and was a lovely way to get to the US. It was a very scenic drive along Hwy#2 to get to our campsite at Leavenworth, WA. As you can see in the photos, the smoke in the air from the Wenatchee forest fires is very thick. Hopefully it will be under control soon.
