Shaftesbury & Durdle Door, UK

Shaftesbury, Dorset was our destination this morning, for a photo shoot on Gold Hill. What a picturesque street in a very picturesque town. We had lunch at the Ugly Duckling Cafe in Swans Yard and sat outside on picnic benches in the sunshine (yes, sunshine in the UK). We then went to Reeve the Baker for some yummy treats.

Our next adventure was a trek to Durdle Door from Lulworth Cove. It was only 4km, but took well over an hour as we were either going up, up, up, or down, down, down. The views were spectacular, so it was well worth the effort - especially as we stopped at the The Boat Shed Cafe for lunch for classic fish and chips and a crab sandwich (with the best bread).
