So, after a wonderful walk around Santa Cruz, we came back on the ship and got a bit of sun up on the pool deck before heading for dinner in the Normandie dining room. We then got to see two fabulous shows starting in 'The Club' with an aerial acrobatics act called Mirage by Les Farfadais. Then back to the main theatre for a Celebrity production show called Kaleidoscope. A most entertaining evening.
At Sea - Our first of seven consecutive sea days as we cross the Atlantic. They sure do keep you busy here! We started with a lecture by Marshall Stern which he called Buddhism 101. Very interesting and informative. The next lecture was Dale - his accident investigation one. We were then treated to an afternoon at the Improv by Nancy and Marshall followed by a Marvin Gaye tribute by Shaun Brown. After dinner in the Cyprus dining room we watched Mirage again, but this time from the second floor and got such a better view! Showtime in the Theatre was a singer called Aimie Atkinson from the UK with a great repertoire. Heading back to Eden for Revelation, Dale finally got to see the amazing show I saw the first night, as the sea was much calmer.
At Sea - Day two was busy, but a little less. We started with lecturer David Wiemers talking about Hollywood on Ocean Liners and Cruise Ships. Captain Costas then gave a presentation all about our ship and navigation etc. Very interesting and informative. Another afternoon of Improv then some pool time, followed by dinner in the Tuscan dining room. Showtime was another magnificent production show called A Hot Summer Nights Dream. We watched from the main floor the first time and it was so fantastic, we went back to the second show and watched from the balcony.
Here are a few photos from some of the productions.
