Merry Christmas from the Erharts!

Once again, we get to catch up with friends and think of our terrific fortune in having family and friends that fill our lives with wonderful memories and opportunities to reflect on how rich our lives have been thanks to you all!

2017 was the year of Vimy Flight for Laurel and me.  Mega preparations, powerful emotions and a chance of a lifetime to represent Canada in a fitting tribute to our fallen at the 100th Anniversary of Vimy Ridge, France.  The wee biplane performed well, the team was superb in its efforts and we made it work despite so many odds.

But for us, another milestone that filled our hearts was the arrival of our 2nd grandchild, little brother Alexander to Benjamin. Both bundles of magic who live seven minutes away and our house is filled with excitement many times a week as they capture our hearts.

Joel has been doing so well in Vancouver but has been away from home for almost a year without a visit so we are anxious to see his reaction to the changes in his nephews.
His work in animation continues to thrive both with Bardel Ent’t and at home with entrepreneurial projects.

Adam’s career is a treat to witness as he grows rapidly and gains traction and wisdom almost daily.  His podcasts and YouTube channels host better mentors and experts that share his passion for helping others to grow whatever business they are in. Marketing is a whole different animal from when I watched infomercials in the 80’s.  Natalie is busy as a full time Mom and is a joy to watch as she loves our grandchildren as only a mother can.

Laurel’s folks are doing well and we enjoy the odd coffee with them at Tim Horton’s, or at family gatherings as they too live so close by.

Brother Bob is in Vancouver this week for some Cancer treatment but the prognosis is good and we are impressed by his fitness for a single man in his mid-seventies. He’ll return with Joel for Christmas here.

Nephew, Colby’s summer wedding was a terrific opportunity to see the cousins and remember the love and commitment we have all shared.

The year is wrapping up and we are preparing for another winter of our Musical project.  Next spring brings  more cruises, a trip to Hawaii with the kids and RV camping around the Island.

We hope your holidays are filled with joy and that 2018 is your best one yet.
