We were then treated to a lobster supper at New Glasgow Lobster Suppers - https://peilobstersuppers.com/history/
If you are ever in PEI, you must make the time to go there - what a treat!
Much to everyone's delight, the next day the planes managed to fly in to Charlottetown for a wonderful afternoon.

They put on a BBQ and even had a parade. The Lieutenant Governor, the Mayor and Brian Pound (our host and the organizer of the whole event) made a few speeches, and then Dale was onstage again with his powerpoint presentation. Everyone else (that would be Peter, Larry, Dave, Bernada, Lucy and me) were proudly showing off the planes and selling hats, t-shirts, pins and badges (gas money for the planes!).
Hospitality reigned as we finished up the day with pizza and beer. Larry and Peter flew the planes over to Moncton and managed to hitch a ride back with Tom in time for the festivities.
There wasn't much spare time, so Dale and I did a quick tour of Charlottetown - out to Victoria Park then downtown to see some of the lovely old buildings. I came home and Dale stayed to shuttle planes about for a couple more days (weather dependant).
