In the evening we were hosted royally at the Auberge Lievinoise by the proprietor. The three local Mayors were there as well as many of the hosts of Vimy Flight at the Aerodrome and elsewhere.
The starter was a quiche that melted in your mouth with the tastiest cheese flowing from within. The main course was duck (can I say melt in your mouth again?), with yummy garlic white beans and potatoes with cheese and bacon. Next came a cheese plate followed by a creamy custard pie. We were positively spoiled and the beer and the wine flowed freely! Sorry, I was too busy eating to take pictures.
