Winnipeg visit

We were in Winnipeg this weekend, to celebrate the life of Dale's Mom's sister, Auntie June.  It was a wonderful service and lots of good stories were told about this remarkable lady.  The get together afterward was hosted by Uncles George (and Marlene), Gerald (and Anne) and Elton.  What a great celebration and so good to catch up with so many cousins and their kids.  Dale's cousin Corrie (and Joe) hosted us royally and we were so pleased to catch up with them and their three delightful kids (sorry - young adults!).

We also borrowed their car and did a quick tour of the old neighbourhoods - Charleswood and Whyteridge.  Here are a couple of photos of two of our old houses and three of the kids schools.  Oh yes, and Dale got in a great visit with his good friend Al, as they went up to the lake and had a look around.  Things have sure changed there.  Is that all that is left of the cabin???  Ah, memories!
