Multnomah, Weisendanger, Ecola & Horsetail Falls, Portland, Oregon
Ok, so there is something to be said for having to stop and look around. We had an appointment to get the a/c fixed (thankfully on warranty), so, what to do in Portland, Oregon for 5+ hours. Happily, on our way through the Columbia Gorge, we happened on a couple of waterfalls that bore closer inspection. 1.8 miles (straight up!) got us to the Weisendanger and Ecola Falls - .7 miles back down plus another .2 miles got us into the lookout area for the Multnomah Falls. And on our way down, we were very lucky to see an Osprey nest - hard spotting through the trees! The hardest part though, is trying to decide which photos to keep - they are all so gorgeous.
