Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas!

It is such a pleasure at this time of year to think about our friends and family - reflecting on all our experiences.

We know it's not fair to bore you with a memoir of yearly events so hopefully you'll be pleased to see this is fairly short Christmas update.

Highlights -

New RV and wonderful trips to Yellowstone, Bryce, Arizona, California and of course our beloved Vancouver Island.

Mediterranean Cruise with Hans and Maureen - bucket list item and complementary to our times in Cyprus.

Music Festivals, Concerts and Shows.

Volunteer work as retirees - Church events, the Musical, and driving the Care-a-Van (Mobile Medical Clinic for the Homeless).

Some things haven't changed since last Year's letter -

Wonderful friends in Cyprus and the Comox Valley and beyond.

Still have our home in Cyprus with visits in the spring and fall.

Our great family with kids that are close by.  Joel still loves living in Vancouver and Adam and Natalie are only a mile away.  Laurel’s parents are still doing great and keeping busy.

New from Last Year

We lost Dale's Mom at the age of 90.  She was very happy and content in her last years but suffered from rapidly growing dementia.  She is missed but now joins her Ed and looks down with big smiles. Of that we are sure.

Adam has returned from his overseas rotations one last time and is now embarking on a dramatic career change.  Back to University and reaching for top marks as Natalie takes over the role of Breadwinner, as a licensed ReMax Realtor.

Plans and dreams for 2013

Overhaul the Ultralight Engine, Ski, Participate in 'Have a Heart' Musical for second season.

Return to Las Vegas to continue the Motorhome adventure into Arizona and California, then bring it home for another camping season in Canada.

Share good times with friends in Cyprus.

Stay focused on health, family, friends and philanthropy as much as we can.

With luck we will see a few weddings, reunions and other wonderful celebrations that allow us to make contact with many of you who are in our minds and hearts but so far away.

May the Christmas Season bring you all of the wishes and joys you can imagine and we look forward to seeing as many of you as we can in the New Year.

Joyous Hugs from Dale and Laurel
