Day 10 - Copper Mine, Cove Fort

Today was a travel day, but we managed to find a couple very interesting sites along the way.
The copper mine was mind boggling and our pictures don't do it justice, so here is a link to try to show you the immensity of it.  The next link explains how they extract the copper - fascinating!

After that, we had planned on going direct to our next campsite, but found a sign for Cove Fort Historic Site.  Brother and Sister Bailey showed us around and were very informative.  The following link shows a few more pictures and a short explanation.
